I can fix my PS3 controller without opening it? Random Pressing Button
My controller is pressing buttons randomly for itself, similar a problem that has been posted before:
Why does my controller randomly presses buttons?
I've already opened the controller, and I haven't seen anything weird or abnormal in it. And in that previous postal service, the guy doesn't say what worked for him. Is there a way to fix this trouble that has been proven to work? Or, exercise I just need to purchase a new one?

I've constitute the solution while searching for PS3 controller L3 problems. (The trouble was more than oft when pressing L3 button.) I went to this forum and saw that a guy had establish the solution. He included a link to this YouTube video:
I watched the video and found another video that shows a like solution, but with some other tape that is a skilful tip for the repair.

Are you guys loftier, just press the small 'reset' push on the dorsum while the controller is plugged in and wait a few seconds

Press the reset push button on the dorsum then hold the ps push. It works

i have the same problem with my controller . but i opened it and set it . in that location is small foam inside the controller .i but wrappe it with the tape . and now my controller works perfectly fine.

Hi, I have a PS three and when playing two players on Minecraft, the one players world keeps spinning. If I use the aforementioned controllers on other games, in that location are no issues. The controllers are hard wired to the controller. Please suggest how to ready the spinning..

my ps3 controller turns on but shows random numbers and does not connect with my ps3.. I tried resetting ... it still charges and shows random numbers ... what can I practice? It is a new controller .. plz help

Um merely way to fix button issue is to get a regular 6- axis not dual shock controller then no issues why ribbon film for all buttons is connected to a push connector not the stupid dual shock three way u

Reset push does non piece of work. Squeamish try, people who recall reset buttons fix physical bug in the controller. These aren't figurer glitches, the bug are physically in the controller

I havent used my ps3 controller in about a year. Its was working before i stop using it. At present im tryna accuse information technology. Idk if its charging or non because the lights non coming on.. Do it takes some time for the lights to come up on due to the controller havent been used in a yr.

My left analog presses the dpad on 99%of game I would similar to fix it without opening it up as that is what the link to this said "set up controller without opening information technology I'g not confident likewise the i that isnt a official pad that works the safe has came off the stick but is torn and the bottom role of mushroom has snapped can I employ sticks from my former ps2 pads which i never use i have 2 that are faulty someone say if the buttons are conpatable with a ps3

Cleaning the controller on the inside is not working. What else I can practise to ready information technology?
The trouble is more frequently when pressing L3 or just giving some little hits on my hand and information technology starts to exist randomly pressing buttons...

Google repair ps3 controller with tape. Its xv min. Fixes all buttons. Their is a sensor pad when controller starts to do random stuff it needs a piece of rolled up tape flatend out to wedge all sensors flat and tight over again. I've already stock-still four controllers this style.
